Call for Executive Committee Members (2027-2028)
The call for nominations for the new Executive Committee is now open! We are seeking motivated and committed scientists to join the Committee and contribute to advancing the adoption of in silico medicine through leadership, collaboration, and community engagement.
The Executive Committee collaborates closely with the VPH Board of Directors and staff to support the implementation of the organisation’s mission and strategic goals. Each committee member will be assigned a specific portfolio and area of responsibility, which may include — but is not limited to — the following topics:
Areas of Interest
- Student Activities
- Communication
- Industry Engagement
- Collaboration with Scientific Societies
- Public and Patient Outreach
- Education
- Meetings and Events
- Awards and Recognition
By standing as a candidate for this election, you will take an active leadership role in advancing the adoption of in silico medicine, strengthening our international community, and contributing to the fulfilment of VPH’s mission.
Mandate and Rules
- Executive Committee members serve a two-year term.
- Members can be re-elected for up to two additional consecutive terms (maximum six years in total).
- These positions are open to scientists at all career stages from the postdoctoral level onward (or with equivalent scientific experience). Early-career scientists within two years of completing their PhD are encouraged to apply instead to the Young Scientist Committee call.

Please indicate:- your area of interest (selected from the list above or proposing a new area),
- the activities and initiatives you would like to develop during your mandate.
The letter should also include:
- your full name,
- affiliation,
- VPH membership code (available in your account page on the VPH website)
Please note that only members in good standing are eligible to apply.
- Curriculum Vitae (maximum one A4 page), including a recent photograph.
Important dates:
- Application deadline: new deadline 15 July 2026 (formal elections will follow)
- Official ratification: Executive Committee members will be presented at the GA during VPH2026 Conference.
- Start of mandate: 1 January 2027
