Who is the VPH membership open to?
Our membership is open to any individuals and organisations interested to support in silico medicine research, coming from academia, research, healthcare, patient organisations and related fields.
If you represent a private company, we invite you to contact the Avicenna Alliance.

How long does my membership last?
The membership is valid from the date your membership application is approved and remains active until the end of the calendar year.

When am I supposed to renew the membership?
Membership renewal takes place at the end of each calendar year. You will receive a reminder with a payment link.
You can also renew your membership by accessing your account page. Under the Subscriptions tab, you will find the dedicated renewal link.

How can I know if my organisation is already a VPH member?
VPH membership is open to both individuals and organisations. If you belong to an organisation that holds an institutional membership (either a Supporting or an Ordinary membership), you can also take advantage of all VPH benefits. You can find the list of organisations that are members of our society here.

If my organisation is a VPH member, what should I do to have access to the VPH community and related benefits?
If you belong to a VPH member organisation, the membership contribution has already been paid for the entire organisation — including you. As a result, you can enjoy all VPH membership benefits at no additional cost, provided that you activate your VPH account.
Select either PERSONAL or STUDENT (depending on your status) and follow the instructions.

I have activated my free VPH account as I belong to a VPH member organisation. Do I still need to renew my membership once a year?
Yes. Even though your VPH membership is free because you belong to a member organisation, you still need to renew your account annually.
To do so log in and go to your account page. Under Subscription, click Subscribe. Review your details, and submit them. This allows us to keep your information up to date and to track any changes.

I would like to change my membership plan. How can I do it?
If you wish to change your membership plan, please visit, please go here select the membership that most suits your need and apply following the instructions.
You do not need to update your user data; only the membership plan associated with your account will be changed.

I am no longer a PhD student. How can I update my VPH membership?
If you are no longer a student, you should now apply for a different membership.
Select your new membership from here and apply following the instructions.

Can I request an invoice in my name/in the name of my university?
An invoice will be available as soon as the payment is received. You can enter your preferred billing information directly on the application form.

How do I sign up for working groups?
If you are interested to participate to our Clinical Engagement working group, or the working groups we have in collaboration with the Avicenna Alliance, please contact us, via this form.

How can I take advantage of the discounted fee for the VPH conference?
To access the discounted conference fee, it is essential that your VPH membership is active before you begin the registration process. Once your membership has been successfully activated/renewed, you will find your 2026 membership code on your account page. This code is required to unlock the discounted registration fee—simply enter it during the conference registration process.
