The VPH is entering a new chapter as the global scientific society for in silico medicine. Building on a decade of community, scientific, and policy leadership, the newly rebranded VPH is expanding its vision to better support a growing and diverse ecosystem, aiming to accelerate a fair and impactful digital transformation of health and care.
The VPH is entering a new phase in its evolution as the global scientific society for in silico medicine. Building on a decade of foundational work on community building, promoting scientific advances, contributing to regulatory science, policy engagement, and industry collaboration, the newly rebranded VPH is expanding its vision to better serve an increasingly diverse and interconnected community. As the field matures, our priorities now include growing a more representative membership base and strengthening our portfolio of projects, enabling research teams to “hit the ground running” by drawing on the expertise, visibility, and ecosystem reach of the VPH team.
Our longstanding efforts with regulators, notified bodies, the EMA, the European Commission, and the FDA are beginning to bear fruit, paving the way for new initiatives that will shape the future legislative and governance landscape for in silico technologies. Looking forward, VPH is committed to deeper engagement with clinicians and patients, guided by the principles of responsible research and innovation. This means fostering co-creation, building trust through education and transparency, and championing values of credibility, inclusion, and accountability.
Above all, VPH remains dedicated to supporting a digital transformation of health and care that is equitable, inclusive, and sustainable. As a membership-based ecosystem organisation, our strength and legitimacy come from the community we represent. Membership ensures that our activities address real needs, amplifies the outstanding science emerging across the field, and provides the collective weight necessary to engage effectively with policymakers, regulators, and industry partners. We invite all stakeholders in in silico medicine to join the VPH and work together toward a future where digital technologies make a tangible difference in the lives of patients.
