VPH is pleased to highlight this upcoming event bringing together the Belgian healthcare ecosystem around two of the most transformative forces in modern medicine: digital twins and artificial intelligence.

Digital Twins and AI in Personalised Healthcare: from Innovation to Implementation and Impact is a one-day event taking place on 10 June 2026, from 9 am to 8 pm, at University Hall, KU Leuven.

The event marks a milestone in the BOSA-funded DT4PH project, presenting its progress to date while creating a space for open, cross-sector dialogue on what it will take to move digital twin and AI technologies from research settings into sustainable, scalable clinical practice.

A full-spectrum programme

The programme covers four core themes: the state of the art in digital twin and AI technology; technology uptake in hospitals; incentivisation and opportunity cost; and testimonies from EU member states on concrete examples of implementation and impact. Each theme is explored through talks and panel discussions, bringing together regulators, standards bodies, clinicians, hospital management, policy makers, health technology assessment bodies, payers, industry representatives, and patient voices.

Participation is free, though registration is mandatory. Attendees are also invited to submit a poster abstract (300 words maximum) or propose a live demonstration.
