Celebrating the next generation of in silico medicine researchers

One of the highlights of the VPH 2026 Conference will take place during the Closing Ceremony, when VPH will recognize some of the most outstanding contributions from its student community through a series of prestigious awards.

The following prizes will be presented:

• Best Thesis Award – Recognising the best PhD thesis defended during 2025. The winner will receive a €1,000 cash prize, a certificate, and the opportunity to present their work to all conference participants.
• Best Presentation Award – Awarded to the best oral presentation delivered by a VPH Student Member during the VPH 2026 Conference. The winner will receive a €500 cash prize and a certificate.
• Best Poster Award – Presented to the best poster showcased by a VPH Student Member at the conference. The winner will receive a €350 cash prize and a certificate.
• ESTIV Best Abstract Award in the field of in silico toxicology and New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) – Highlighting innovative research contributing to the advancements of computational toxicology. The winner will receive a certificate and a €300 cash prize.
• Travel Vouchers – Up to six VPH Student Members will each receive a €500 travel voucher to help cover travel, accommodation, and living expenses associated with attending the conference.

Through these awards, VPH – The Society for In Silico Medicine aims to recognise excellence, support young researchers, and showcase the talent that is shaping the future of in silico medicine.
