Be the next to organise VPH2028

Our main event, the VPH Conference, is held every two years and brings together researchers across disciplines, clinicians, industry representatives, patients, regulators, and policymakers to exchange ideas, showcase breakthroughs, and collectively shape the future of digital healthcare.

Beyond scientific exchange, the conference fosters international collaboration. It offers researchers worldwide the opportunity to build partnerships across geopolitical boundaries, explore new areas of cooperation, and develop joint initiatives in research and education within the field of in silico medicine.

The next edition, VPH2026, will take place 1–4 September 2026 in Milan, Italy, and will focus on the adoption of digital twins in healthcare. Since 2010, eight VPH conferences have been organised. You can find the full list here.

We are now launching the selection process for VPH2028, and we warmly invite expressions of interest.

Important deadlines:

• 13 March 2026: Closure of the call for bids that officially opens today. Within this date, bidders must submit to VPH Manager,  Martina Contin, a written proposal with all the requested information. Proposal must be submitted by e-mail and receipt will be acknowledged soon thereafter.
• 27 March 2026: Eventual requests for supplemental information will be made to the bidders no later than this date.
• 17 April 2026: all the supplemental information shall be supplied within this deadline, again by e-mailing them to manager@vph-institute.org.
• May 2026: The winning bid for VPH2028 will be selected. Bidders will be informed on the results of the selection soon after.
