The VHT-AI Thematic Network represents an important opportunity to build consensus around the policy, regulatory, educational, and societal foundations needed for trustworthy AI and Virtual Human Twins. By bringing together expertise from multiple disciplines, the initiative aims to help ensure that these technologies can move beyond innovation and deliver real benefits for patients and healthcare systems across Europe.

The VHT-AI Thematic Network invites stakeholders across multiple disciplines and fields to contribute to its Joint Statement on building responsible ecosystem solutions for AI and Virtual Human Twins in healthcare. Following a successful EU Health Policy Platform webinar, the initiative now moves from dialogue to action, addressing key challenges in adoption, reimbursement, regulation, and trust to support the integration of these innovations into European health systems.
