VPH ready to support Mission Cancer call on Virtual Human Twins
The VPH Society is preparing to contribute to the upcoming HORIZON-MISS-2026-02-CANCER-01 call under the European Commission Mission on Cancer, and invites interested organisations to get in touch for collaboration.
This call focuses on the development and application of Virtual Human Twin (VHT) models, an emerging paradigm in in silico medicine with the potential to transform cancer research and care. VHT approaches enable:
- Patient-specific simulations and predictive modelling
- Improved understanding of disease progression
- More precise and personalised treatment strategies
- Integration of complex biomedical and clinical data
Building on our role as coordinator of the EDITH CSA, VPH brings solid experience in advancing the Virtual Human Twin vision at European level. Through this work, VPH has contributed to shaping the VHT landscape and fostering collaboration across key communities, including research, clinical practice, industry, and policy. This places VPH in a strong position to effectively support new projects focused on the development and implementation of VHT models in cancer research.
VPH invites organisations preparing proposals for HORIZON-MISS-2026-02-CANCER-01 to get in touch.
By contributing expertise in communication, stakeholder engagement, social science, and regulatory/policy interaction, VPH helps ensure that projects achieve not only wide visibility but also strong societal impact and real-world adoption. Here you can find information on our full offer.
Do not hesitate to contact us to explore collaboration opportunities.
